Employment Discrimination

When an employer discriminates against you because of your race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation or religion, you do have rights. Washington State has laws against employment discrimination that are more protective of employees than federal laws. I can explain your rights to you, and help you decide on the best course of action to protect them.

Types of Discriminatory Actions

If your employer has failed to give you the promotion you deserved or the training you needed to succeed based on your race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation or religion, we can pursue a lawsuit against your employer.

Other examples of adverse employment actions include targeting you for a hostile work environment, treating you differently than other employees or wrongful termination.

  • Reporting an employer for violating the law (whistle blowing).

  • Reporting noncompliance with employment or labor laws.
